Hi! My name is Natacha and I live in West-Flanders, Belgium. My very first dog was a Rottweiler and just didn't reach the age of 14 before we had to let her go. But she created my passion for dogs. After a few jobs with dogs I knew what I wanted. I wanted a dog who doesn't get tired, not too big, no long hair :) and above all a family dog. I really wanted to do dog sport like Agility so it had to be an active breed.
Thanks to my passion for Australia I met the Kelpie. After a lot of research I knew this is the dog I want, fits perfect to my needs. After a while I met an Australian Kelpie breeder who sells dogs all over the world! My first little puppy was getting closer... As the pup got born I had to do a lot of paperwork to get her in Belgium. After a lot of wrong communication and problems (with FAVV, not the breeder) I had to let the pup go, I just couldn't get it in Belgium at age of 8 weeks. I would have to wait till the pup was a dog and I didn't want that. The only other option was to go get the pup myself in Australia. I could't do that either because of work... I had to start all over again.
A year later I decided to search for an European breeder. After a lot of emails, phone calls and searching I found someone with a Red & Tan female left. Just what I wanted! After 2 years I finally had my very own little Kelpie and I love her! She is perfect to me.
Our goal is to focus on agility, we did obedience till she was a year old but found it a bit boring. We have done a few shows with great result but we do prefer to be outdoors so we don't do that a lot.
My decision to have a litter or maybe 2 with Dakota was not an easy one but we are going for it! I want to contribute to this great breed and have quality puppy's so that every new owner will be as passionate about this amazing breed as I am.
